The schedule varies somewhat according to the day and the season, but in general it follows this pattern:
MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
4:50 – 5:35 am Matins (i.e., Office of Readings)
6:50 – 7:20 am Lauds (Morning Prayer)
7:30 – 8:20 am Mass, followed by Terce (Midmorning Prayer)
11:45 am – noon Sext (Midday Prayer)
12:50 – 1:10 pm None (Midafternoon Prayer); during some seasons, we pray None with Sext
5:00 – 5:40 pm Vespers (Evening Prayer)
7:30 – 7:50 pm Compline (Night Prayer)
*On Mondays, we often pray Compline at 7:00 pm
SUNDAYS AND SOLEMNITIES
5:30 – 6:20 am Matins (i.e., Office of Readings)
7:15 – 7:50 am Lauds (Morning Prayer)
8:00 – 9:00 am Mass
12:10 – 12:30 pm Terce and Sext (Midday Prayer)
1:40 – 2:00 pm None (Midafternoon Prayer)
5:00 – 5:40 pm Vespers (Evening Prayer)
7:30 – 7:50 pm Compline (Night Prayer)
*On Solemnities, we often pray Compline at 7:00 pm
